Fossilfly Imports Announces New Line Of Murano Glass Jewelry

West Hempstead, NY - June 22, 2005- Fossilfly Imports, a leading importer of Murano glass, has just announced its new summer line of jewelry, made using traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques. The new line encompasses a broad range of jewelry from progressive Art Glass pendants, trendy necklaces and a variety of mouth blown glass hearts. Many of these techniques, used in the finest art glass, can now be found in our jewelry. Avventurine, Ca’d’Oro and Murrine are all used to great effect with the bright, bold colors that Venetian glass is renown for.
All of the jewelry is handcrafted on the island of Murano, a small island in the Venetian lagoon, renowned since 1292 as the preeminent center for glass blowing. The Venetian maestros, known for their innovation and technical mastery, continue to be a major force in the art glass world.

Besides our new line of jewelry we also have the classic millefiore pendants and various styles of paperweights ranging from the ever popular globe to the more modern cold worked art deco paperweight in addition to vases, art glass sculptures and figurines.
