What is MuranoReal?
MuranoReal is a program designed to give our customers additional security in their purchases from Fossilfly Imports. Many times the labels or certifcates that are present with a new piece of Murano Glass wear away, are removed or misplaced over time. MuranoReal eliminates this issue by giving you a code, unique to your purchase that allows you to verify its authenticity, with our MuranoReal database.
Why was it created?
MuranoReal was created with the realization that an authentic piece of Murano Glass may not always retain its label, label of authenticity or even a signature over time. We wanted to give our customers an additional method of ensuring the authenticity of their purchase, and MuranoReal was born!
How much does it cost?
MuranoReal is free for our customers!
What is part of the MuranoReal Program?
Most of our Art Glass, Vases, Chandeliers and Accent Plates are enrolled in the MuranoReal program. All items that are enrolled are noted in the description of the item. If you have a purchase from us that you would like to enroll, please contact us.
How do I enroll my purchase in the MuranoReal program?
Items that are noted in the description are already enrolled in the program! You do not have to do anything, and your purchase will come with a unique MuranoReal ID.
What if I lose my MuranoReal ID?
Just contact us with a description of your item, and estimated purchase date, we will verify your purchase, and then send you your MuranoReal ID.
Do past purchases Qualify for MuranoReal?
Absolutely. Just contact us, and we will do our best to enroll you. Note that for purchases prior to January 2004, we may not have a image available.
Can I try MuranoReal out?
Yes. We created a test ID specifically for this. It is on the MuranoReal page, just enter it and go!
