This is 2 1/4" high X 5" in diameter and has a ground base. The layers are clear (outside) over opalescent over amber.

Hi lcurrie, yes it is a Murano bowl. Could be made by Barbini or Archimede Seguso, nice piece.

Just to add on to what Horst wrote -- Cenedese also did many bowls of this type with different colors. My first guess would be Cenedese, but Barbini or Seguso are also possibilities.
