Hi, I have a bowl with a partial label that says "Hand Made - Venetian - J.I. Co. - Made In Italy". Here's a pic of the full label as borrowed from another board. http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/d....php?pos=-1914 Does anyone know anything about this company? When they were in operation? What sort of items they produced? Any artists that are associated with them? What value their items hold in the current market? Any info is greatly appreciated in this latest research project of mine
Thanks, Bidda |

I checked Murano Magic, but couldn't find anything about J.I. Co. I have seen some of their work on occasion. There are several very nice clowns that are on the internet. I don't know where their facilities are located. I haven't seen a Murano sticker on any of their pieces, so they may be Venetian, but not Murano.
The label brings up another question for me. Does one of the Venini labels have a gondola on it? When I see a gondola, I think about Venini for some reason. (I am not saying JI Co. is Venini, only wondering about why I have Venini and gondolas linked.) Anita |

I just added a J.I. label to the Murano Label library here:
