Default Any ideas on this fish?

We just purchased this yesterday at a local antique shop were wondering if it was Murano? No stickers, but it looks and feels very clean and crisp.
Thank you very much,

Added a couple of better pictures. If it's fake, don't worry about being the bearer of bad news, it's okay!
Thanks again,

Default The base

The base looks too plain to be Murano if you look at all the fishes on Ebay. Also, the fish doesn't look very beautiful compared to the Murano fishes I have seen. The side fins are not distinctive or well formed.

Last week we purchased this bird that matches the fish. The bird is stamped/etched W764255 on bottom. This may be wishful thinking on my part but I found this piece for sale on Rubylane. To me they look like they are from the same maker? The fish and the bird look like brother and sister, the motar/pestle could be a cousin!!

Like I said it could just be wishful thinking, please let me know your thoughts.
Thank you,
Dan

Smile Nice pieces

I think they are quite nice pieces and would not mind them in my collection. I have seen Murano pieces with those sort of bases. It would be interesting to see what Anita has to say about them.

Cheers,

Pam

Hi. Very interesting pieces! While the bases are generic, the stylized fish and the use of a reticello rod makes me think it is likely Murano. I like both of them.
