we don't want to deceive people and we love the pieces we come across for their beauty - with nearly 200 pieces in our collection we've run out of space to add new items, but we can't stop buying

so, being as we obviously need help with our items, would you please take a look at our pieces and comment on them as to authenticity & value?

American buyers tend to be savvy and frugal, particularly on eBay. Most of us have been fooled by at least one Chinese piece, however. But it is usually one that is selling for $9, thank goodness! I do have to admit that I was fooled by one to the tune of $70 once. It was a lovely vase, but high-production Chinese nonetheless.

I'm glad to see that after learning it probably wasn't Seguso or anything Murano, the seller reduced the price to $1100. Unfortunately I missed the end of the listing. Rats.

$1100 Anita, does this kinda of remind you of the pitcher experience that was discussed on the Glass Message forum? LOL! I will make no further comment. You know what I am talking about. You have to be careful on Ebay and other places, even antique shops for Murano glass. People will try to get you and sometimes the sellers, I think, do not even know they have a forged piece. This is a shame.
