Default id please for Murano dragon goblet

Hi,

I don't usually buy latticino objects but I could not resist this lovely goblet.

Height 20 cm, weight 337g

I know nothing about it, and would appreciate any information I can get, thanks!

A great piece, I am always a fan of latticino & filigrana! A shame to see the label scratched out, I took a look at the Label library, there was one similar, but not an exact match. The label was attributed to Fratelli Toso, but at first glance, I dont think its a match. Maybe salviati, but it seems the colors are wrong, but the workmanship is obvious.... Im guessing at this point!

Wonderful piece! It is executed extremely well! I love the murrine eyes, such a lovely touch to the piece. It is very striking.

Thanks for your replies!

Yes, it's a shame about the label, and also that there is no inscription.

I've been googling a bit but not seen quite this type of latticino. The white strands within the pink ribbon,
and also there is no aventurine outlining the edges of the pink ribbon.

Now I'll go and put the dragon pictures in my album!

The label that Charlie is referring to in the label library I have discovered is not just used on Fratelli Toso pieces. It is also used on other pieces as well. I believe it is an import label. Here is the same label used on an Alberto Seguso duck that is on Ebay right now. It is Ebay number 360218221284. Sorry I didn't mean to hijack your thread Alegni but I just had to make a point for future reference.

Alegni: I think your label is also an import label as well and not attributed to any company but I could be wrong.
