I just picked this guy up, anyone know who could have made him? It measures 3 3/4" long x 1 1/4" tall.

Hi Vintagevolume, your dachshound is Murano l have one although l havent seen it for a while ,as to who made them again they were made by many companies, without label or signature nearly impossible to attibute them to individual artist,as to value £30-£50 yours has more facial detail than most many,collectors like Murano animals made in 60/70s

What a great dog! He has eyes like a few of the Fratelli Toso animals, but I don't know if they made any critters that are this small. I do think that he is Murano because the gold and the eyes are so carefully made. I've not run across another that is like him. Major cutie.
