Hi again, Here is a cute little bird that I think is from Murano. There are three signitures to the base. I presume the first is a name, the second is the MRF and the third I think says Murano. Can anybody confirm this as I am just a begginer and don't recognise the signitures
It's been bugging me for ages!Cheers, Infract ![]() |

I googled the name Franco Bettaro and found one associated with Zanetti. I don't know if he worked with them, but his name led to a page about their artisans. His name was not among the list of artists, so he must have been mentioned in some of the subsequent pages. Unfortunately, I don't read Italian.
I love having signed pieces Anita |

Nice find Anita!
After taking Anitas suggestion, I googled it also, he came up in on the Abate Zanetti glass blowing school, in which one of the instructors worked under him at one point. We have a thread about the school in the forum here: http://forums.fossilfly.com/showthre...?p=119#post119 the site is nicely laid out and full of information.
