Venini on Amazon?

I stumbled upon this on Amazon while adding the amazon book links to the site:


Venini is being sold on Amazon

To me this is unusual, as Venini is (or had been) strict on who sold their glass, eg. a large minimum order and a physical storefront were required. They have a showroom in NYC, and at one point in 2004-2005, I approached them about making a purchase, but didn't because of the large minimum opening order. My guess is they probably got over their initial reluctance to ecommerce as well as trying different sales avenues due to the dollars decline and greater competition. I wonder if it the Venini on amazon is being sold by the company or a 3rd party?
