Reputed to be Venini. Anyone recognize or care to comment? I like the form and especially the colors but am only interested in Murano pieces.

Hi Duquephart Firstly you do not say if signed and if so in what way ,by far most venini items are signed ,the style of signing is important in determining age. Secondly the style of vase does not say Venini to me,pictures of base and rim would help in identification of your vase ,the style of it says A.Seguso to me mid 1950s they used the acid green glass ,so if reputed Venini by who if a seller what does he offer to substanciate claim, not any Venini in my opinion ,others may differ.Cliff

Nothing --- no sigs, no labels. Seller says it "looks" like a Venini piece he saw years ago. And yes, I realize this might be a stretch.

Not Venini. It's Czech, Skrdlovice, designed by Jan Beranek, the 'Andromeda' line. The seller who has this on eBay at a ridiculous price has been given this information and has ignored it. It's a beautiful piece, but not Murano. They sell for a good price in Britain.
