Default 2 new peices

hi i have just bought these 2 at. sale. The first one is just under 14 inches tall, that looks like sepia yellowish toped with blue. The second one has yellow tint with white markings and the lable Lavorazione murano and also has the Chirico Vetrerie certificate. could you tell me if the first one is murano and a little bit about the second

The tall vase is lovely, but I don't know the maker. The label is one that is found on glass that is made in the Naples area. It is Italian, but not Murano glass. Still pretty.

I just read what you wrote about Chirico, so it is definitely made in Naples. That is where Chirico is located. Thank you for providing that extra bit of information. I just missed it when I was looking at the pictures.

hi iam a bit confused the lable says that the vase is murano lavorazione made in italy, is this not misleading and or false advertising. iam not disputing what you say as you know your murano but how can they get away with the murano name if it is not.? thanks colin.

Many labels will say Murano, but not be from there. It is equivalent to keyword spamming. This type glass is claiming to be made in the style of Murano. It is from Italy -- Naples -- just not from Murano. It is always a good practice to avoid contemporary labels that have words like "Arte Murano" or "cristallerie di Murano." This glass is usually not made in Murano.
