Andy, I've looked a bit for your fish and can't find it. I have a suspicion that it is not Murano glass, but I could be wrong. The base does not look right for Murano glass. I hope someone else will have an idea.

Thanks Anita, i will have another look around. I saw a couple of similar fish in a recent auction, a little damaged and in a large lot, but they were pretty dirty and looked a few decades old.

Hi Andy not Murano in my opinion ,these stripey designs are chinese the green tinge to the base glass and the rough and indented pontil also say not Murano l have seen these up close and they certainly make you take a second look as the quality of the fish initialy would seem that its murano.Cliff

Thanks Cliff, I'm not very keen on it anyway, I think i will pop it in a box for the local auctions sometime.
