Found this at a thrift store and thought the gold specks in it were unique. Does anyone recognize it as Murano? and what is its value. My hubby calls all my beautiful glass "junk" ... hope to make him admit he is wrong!

Thank you for responding! I was thinking perhaps Seguso from my research but wasn't sure, being my first Murano find. I love all vintage and mid century glass. Anyway, to answer your question. . . it is 3 1/2" tall by 3 1/4" wide at the mouth. Do you have an idea as to its function? Value? Thank you again

Hi Cliff,
Wanted to know who was so kind as to help me so I went to your album and looked at your beautiful collection. Of course, I am overwhelmed with so many outstanding pieces, but I have to say I love the alexandrite glass. I will find one one of these days...I have found two ashtrays, but no interest in their form. Take care! |
