Default Glass ID

Hi there,

I am new to collecting glass and have a very limited knowledge. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help ID this piece of glass, which appears to be Murano done in the incalmo style. I have come across pieces with similar attributes by Dino Martens, Pollio Perelda, and Luca Vidal, however nothing that is a really close match. This piece is quite thick and weights about 5 lbs. There are no identifying makers' marks but from sticky residue on the bottom it appears there was once a paper label. I apologize for the poor pics. All I have is a camera phone right now. Any ideas? I appreciate the help.

Welcome, artsnot. Your vase is very bright and eye-catching. I don't recognize it. The technique is not incalmo. It is a cased glass design with inclusions. I do not think it is Murano glass, and if it is it would be more contemporary. I hope someone else will have a better idea.
