I bought this piece at an estate sale. It was not inexpensive but I feel I paid a reasonable price for it. She is 10 1/2" tall. What I originally thought was a coat of dust (to go with the rest of my dust collection) turned out to be gold flecks. There are no cracks, breaks, repairs that I can find. Also, I cannot find a signature. I have narrowed this down to what I think is either Salviati or Barovier based on the face and details. She sits on the edges of her ornate skirt, there is no "base".
It has been very overcast today so the pictures aren't great, sorry. Any information would be welcome. Thank you. |

Can someone verify the origin of this lady? Price range?
Any help is really appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi Soulshine Your lady is post ww11 in Victorian style dress,as to maker l would struggle to be certain ,the lack of a base does not suggest Barovier& toso to me l have seen similar but do not recall maker,as a single l would think $150 would be a reasonable value to attribute to it.These figures are made by many makers and come signed often but rarely with label.Cliff
