Hi, I'm new to murano and i've brought a few little birds recently as i think there really beautiful. I've just learnt that one small duck may be fake but what about these ones?

To me eye, none of them are Murano. Nothing wrong with them, just not Murano.
Have a good browse through Anita's (TxSilver) Zoo and that will give a great idea of the range of Murano birds. David |

Hi Gidnoid Am l right in thinking your pictures are of the small lampworked glass animals l have had and sold thousands of these in groups of 5-100 in the mid ninties for a period covering 10years mainly on ebay These little animals were along with cartoon characters Disney characters animal band figures were made in Murano as well as Japan'England India Austria Czechoslovakia andChina In fact in the 60/70s India not China was the main producer /copier firms such as Pirelli glass in England made them Bimini made them beautiful creations on thin glass usually on thin rectangle or triangular glass bases'China was late to copy these little animals l first saw them for sale in 70s on cards with them all in same colourway but graduatiing in size .China now makes the vast majority 'yours are all Chinese in origin.Hope that my answer helps.Cliff
