Default Scavo or not

Hi, just wondering if this jug is of the scavo finish and does anyone know approximately its age and the artist who made it. ? Its 6 inches tall and the bulbous part of it is 3.750 inches dia with a rough indented pontil mark .The mottled blue handle continues up around the neck a coulpe of turns.

Many thanks

I'd call it a scavo finish, although it's a more uniform application of the finish than you would see on the first scavo pieces produced. That's one of the reasons I'd say that your piece is relatively new.

There are so many companies around the world producing scavo right now that it can be hard to pin down a maker.
