Venetian, Salviati(?) Bud Vase - Eye Candy

Hey folks!

This one has me enchanted! A bud vase, I suppose, about 6.5" tall. Note the flattened disk shape, and the latticino, aventurine and rigaree...would you guess Salviati on this? Or someone else?

It has two labels, one a generic Murano label and the other has a faded number, maybe an importers label or something.

Beautiful flask vase. I've seen the shape called Pilgrim flask, but I don't know if it applies to the ones with pedestals. The red label is an AVeM label from the 1950-60s. I'm surprised that it doesn't have the label that says AVeM, since this looks like a piece of their more artistic glass. I am glad that it had a label. The applied cane crimping does look like AVeM.

I noticed this post and wanted to comment on the one label (square one) with the Dash, dot pattern....( _._._._._._._ )

There have been a couple other posts with this square label (Dash, dot) one. Namely my post here:

I thought that Dash, Dot label was attributed to Fratelli Toso in the past discussion, and the attribution on Loschs site also says FT.

Interesting.....and Glad people (from the yonder days) left the labels on!!
