Hi all,
This looks like a Murano design but I am not sure. It is Vaseline (Uranium) glass and glows yellow green under a blacklight. Anyone recognize this one? Thanks for any comments. Last edited by gsween; 03-07-2010 at 10:09 PM.. Reason: misspell |

Hi gsween your bowl/dish is typical of murano in shape ,the acid green colour would indicate that it has some uranium content, only use of blacklight can determine for sure, not much more I can add. Cliff

Cliff, the bowl was tested already and glowed, so definitely uranium.
![]() Ashtrays are difficult to attribute after the label is lost. It can even be difficult to say for sure if they are Murano. This one looks like it could be to me. The only way to be more certain is to find the exact design with an attribution -- something that can be difficult to do. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
