Default Barovier-Toso figurine

Hi Steve these figures were made by many makers ,some are distinguishable as to who made them ,unfortunatly not in this case .you dont give height ,but lets assume 11inches in perfect condition around £100 mark ,alas with the amount of damage you describe considerably less. I dont know how you come by your Barovier -Toso attribution if there s a label or signature then you can prove me wrong ,but for my money they are not the maker of your figure, nice for display Steve ,but sorry to be bearer of bad news, of very little value for resale due to condition.

Default Barovier- toso figure

Hi again Steve your figure is definately Murano in origin ,I would say from the seventies, earlier ones have distintive styles as you mentioned Barovier-Toso Seguso ,Barbini all can be identified as many examples are documented ,someone may know who made yours but it does not stand out to me who maker was,as to ebay attribution take them with handful of salt unless signature or label present .Cliff

Figurines like this one were made in different colors for Jordan Import (JI Co) around 1960. Shannon has a picture of one under figurines at http://gallery.blancoglass.com. It is such a useful site for JI Co. Unfortunately, Shan seems to have disappeared from the world of glass.
