Signed Murano Box

I received this box about 18 years ago as a gift - It appears to be Murano, I was told that it is, also has a signature on the bottom: "MRaudruzzats (?) for Design Guild". Design Guild was a company based in New York, selling high end decorative accessories and lighting to the trade. They were bought out by "Crystal Clear". No one there knows about the box. Here are a few images - I hope someone out there can provide some clues.
