Another mystery vase -- This vase is lavender and stands about 3.5" tall. It has what looks like a scavo finish (corroded surface with a white mineral frost). The rim is ground. I liked the "snake stole" threading. I suspect it is Murano, because it looks similar to a couple of things done by Cenedese. Has anyone seen this vase before? It is not signed and has only tiniest remnants of a sticker on bottom.

I think Cenedese is a good call They did a lot of scavo work, also Gambaro and Poggi has done some contemporary scavo also.

Thanks for the new lead. I couldn't find the vase under Gambaro & Poggi, but I saw some things they made that I recognized. Now I will know who made these things. It's entirely possible that my vase isn't Murano. I've run across scavo works in my searches that have been done in many other countries. Maybe I'll have luck and run across it somewhere. For now I'll have to add it to my growing collection of unidentified glass.
