Hi. I've just discovered this marvelous fossilfly.com and just registered. I also just bought this tazza with the interesting remnant paper label and engraved marks that read "Murano" on one side of broken pontil and, as far as I can make out, numbers on the other side. The label could represent Murano or Venice and I see no indication that it ever bore a factory name. If it can be ascribed to a factory or maker it might be one to add to the catalog. I wonder if anyone recognizes the label or the factory/maker?
Looking forward to hearing from other members. Feeling foolish - unsure if my photos are attached so here goes. If not attached will try again. Call me The Tremainiator or Tremainiator Last edited by Tremain Haynes; 08-15-2012 at 07:29 PM.. Reason: add photos |

Still no luck, Tremainiator. It may have something to do with you being new on the site -- I don't know. If someone doesn't patch the pictures through soon, you can email them to me at acaudle52 at gmail.com and I'll try to post them for you.
