Default Anne Primrose Collection

Some of the Ann Primrose collection look pretty nice. For example, this toucan is lovely: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=120896766571. I know that most of the Primrose "Murano" collection was made in China. I believe that all of this glass is. But still it is pretty to look at.

That parrot is nice and the colors may be to someone's preference so I agree that all Chinese isn't all poorly made.

I just wish that maker won't ride the coat tails of Italian Murano without using the word Murano.

Regards,
Jason

Wink

If anyone is interested in seeing the things being sold in the Ann Primrose Collection, check out http://www.annprimrose.com/Apstore/. Good to learn the looks of these pieces.

I just looked at all the things. I have one of the marlins in blue. It has a store type made in China label on bottom -- picture below. So the design isn't exclusive to Ann Primrose. $180! And just to think I was going to donate it to the local mission on my next trip. Guess I'll have to wait a couple of trips before I do.

I have become increasingly suspicious that anything that looks like Formia, but isn't, is Chinese. That may not be true, but the Chinese do like to make Formia-like things.
