Default Ermanno Nason Sculpture

Hi everyone, Recently bought this Ermanno Nason sculpture-think it's titled THE HUG! Its of a smokey light-green glass. I know it shows up as a purplish colour in places, but thats just a reflection!! Has the E.Nason signature on one side.
I need some help. Does anyone have the book by Sergio Gnesin 'I Vetri di Ermanno Nason?' There is a photo, I believe, of this on page 99. If anyone has this book and could possibly email me a photocopy i'd be really grateful.
Thanks

Dave Bending

Thanks for sharing, a wonderful piece! I don't have a copy of the book, I wish I had.

Default Ermanno Nason

Thanks Charlie for your reply. I think only 1500 copies were produced so a really difficult book to get hold of!

Default Ermanno Nason Sculpture

Hello Dave,
I am Sergio Gnesin, author of the book on Ermanno Nason.
Browsing the web I found your post and I hope you are going to see this reply of mine after so many years.
Even if the sculpture you bought is not exactly like the hug I have on page 99, I confirm that you found a lovely piece by Ermanno.
He was extremely skilled with massive glass and he created many sculptures, of different size until he couldn't work anymore with heavy pieces after the stroke he suffered that decreased his strength.
If you have any question about the Master, please, just let me know.
About the book, mart9911 is right; I published 1500 copies only, but I have some left if you want.
I also invite you guys to see my website on Murano Glass
www.theglass.miami

I hope you like it.

Best

Sergio
