Hello Everybody!
I am trying to identify a large vase done in Scavo technique. It is about 16" tall x 6 diameter at the base. I was wondering if it possible to be Barbini Scavo vase or other Murano manufacturer. Here I post pictures of the mouth , texture and bottom. The pontil mark is raised and roughly grinded one few spots to match the color of the vase's surface. Thanks in advance for your opinion! Another picture of the bottom - the pontil it is raised about 3/8 or 4mm and it is seen on this picture better.

Hi, I own a few vases "a scavo", all made by Gino Cenedese. But the surface is
different, more smooth. Yours seems like glaspowder as done by Seguso Vetri d`Arte in 1980. |
