Nice little bottle/vase , somebody had the bright idea of sticking the lablel over the signature. Ive had a search around, and found a similar shape bottle by Franco Moretti in scavo , but with similar collar, and also some birds which look similar.
I think TamBam may know ![]() Not sure what the second word is at all. Will i have to take the label off, or can you help. Cheers Andy |

I think you are on the right track, it looks like Franco Moretti to me. The visible portion of the signature looks to spell Moretti to my eyes also. TamBam is definitely the resident expert on Franco Moretti she would definitely be able to verify.

I just came from the other forum, and yes, it is Franco Moretti. Thought I would answer the question here, too, so you would be sure to receive the answer in your email. Very nice bottle.

Thanks Anita,
I couldnt find a picture of a Moretti signature. Maybe tam bam will know an approx date, and what the second word may say ? As i said on the other board, sad news is the stopper is broken, so if anyone has a spare blue stopper that may fit, i can find it a home, have to look out for one that fits and matches at the fairs i go to, maybe i can find something on line. Many thanks, Andy |

My sympathies. Stoppers can drive me crazy. It is so hard to find one that fits that is just the right color. I have a couple of beautiful old pieces that are still waiting for stoppers. I recently bought a Cesare Toffolo "vase" off eBay, only to learn that it should have had an amber satinato stopper with it. I know the chance of finding a matching stopper is virtually zero. The blue of your bottle will be hard to match. I'm glad that you have the damaged stopper. It gives your bottle balance, even though it is not perfect.
