I found this at a yardsale, and thought it was pretty. Then I got to thinking it might be something special. It is heavy and smooth, cept for some scratches on the bottom. No markings. It has some texture inside the bowl, and on the rests there appear to be a circular pattern (fingerprint like?) It has an iridescent look and is a redish color. About 6" long, 1, to two inches thick, and about 3 inches high. Any ideas? Murano or chinese? Thank you so much for your help!

It looks like a real Murano ashtray. The inner surface looks to have an iridato surface. Very lovely.
