Hi, could anybody help me identify this? It is a large, very thick cobalt blue & cranberry vase, bowl, or centerpiece that glows yellow-green under blacklight! The bottom is flat. There is no label but I do see embossed markings of some sort! They are on the underneath on several spots, on the blue part. I can not make them out. I am adding several images where I have tried to capture these markings. The length of bowl is about 10 1/2" and stands 3" tall. I've had this for years, I found this along with several more pieces of glass and other antiques in an old house I was cleaning out! Any help with maker & value would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hello and welcome. Your bowl looks like the type of glass imported from Murano into the US by Jordan Import company. The colors and cut rim are typical of their imports. These pieces are simply referred to as JI Co glass or Blanco Glass. The bowl is not uranium glass. The aqua glass has a yellow glow under black light. Uranium glass will glow bright green. The JI Co aqua glass glows yellow, so I am fairly certain it is what your bowl is.

Hi, thanks so much for replying and giving me the information! Would you or anybody happen to know the value on this piece? If it isn't worth much I just assume keep the piece instead of selling it, It is a cool piece! I will research the companys you have given me! Thanks again. I have lots more pieces that I have questions about that I will be posting here & there. Thanks again everybody, I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!

This type JI Co glass is good glass, but without much value. Its beauty is more in the colors than in the price.

Hi, thank you again for your help! Yes the colors are quite striking, the pictures don't do them justice. Think I will keep this one for myself! Thank you.
