Default Green Ahstray with gold-ish flakes

Yup, another ashtray but can't turn down inexpensive glass with pretty colors. ... (This one happens to remind me of the ol' swimmin' hole where my mom grew up in Mississippi. Most interesting color water there due to the plant tannins.)

A bit more than 7" across. I'm sure it's Murano, probably fairly generic though?

I don't know who made your ashtray, cubby, but thought I would start the conversation. The swirls look like something Fratelli Toso would do. The shape of the bowl reminds me of some of Cenedese's things... Still, my first guess (and it is only a guess) would be Fratelli Toso.

Thanks Tx, I'm really surprised I didn't see more of this clamshell shape with 3 folds grouped together like this. I'll look some more throwing Toso into the mix.

Cubby: the size and the swirls say Fratelli Toso to me as well, but it is an unusual piece. I wouldn't pass it buy either.

I don't like being a party pooper, but I saw an ashtray with swirls like this one yesterday. It had the green "Genuine Venetian Glass" sticker on it. That is such a sad sticker. I've never been able to attribute any of the glass that bears it.

Well, at least it dates it a little bit. Was the one you saw similar in shape or color?
