Question Pink Vetri Murano Swirl Lamp

I got this for $80 on eBay. It is a one piece glass mushroom lamp. It has a sticker on it saying Vetri Murano.
Did I do okay? What is the value? The cord & switch look like they're from the 60s. This is a large lamp, maybe 18 inches high. It is in perfect condition.

    ssarrah,
Welcome to the forums! Is the lamps label similar to the one in this thread?

Thanks so much! It is exactly the same I think. I'm at the office now and can't compare directly.

A great discovery!, and for only $80! I bet the seller didn't really realize what it was worth Good for you

The lamp is also featured in a book, I just cant remember which one at the moment.

Thanks! The eBay seller had it listed as Verti Murano and I think they probably lost some views because of that. I was willing to go higher but no one bid against me.

I LOVE living with this lamp. It casts a pinkness over the room that is flattering and peaceful.

Anybody have any idea of the value or what year they made them?
    Thanks!

I think it would be worth between $300- $400. You made a great find, Venini is the highest regarded glass house in Murano. Based on the label I believe it was made during the 70's.
