Unhappy Another Murano mistake and a new lesson learned

I got this flower at an estate sale recently and was happy to see a label on it, since I have so few with labels. Came home with my new find looked on the internet since most was in Italian, only to get led here where I come all the time. In 2010 TxSilver posted this label is not murano instead it means glass made using murano techniques of a master. What a disappointment.

I can be such a kill joy.

I have bought things so often that were Chinese or worse. I consider the purchases pieces of glass education. I usually don't pay enough to seriously miss the money (with some exceptions). And the pieces teach so much about the look of glass to avoid.

BTW, I think this type glass is very pretty. It just isn't Murano glass.

It happens, all of us have done it, more than once. :-) As long as you are OK with the price you paid, its a great flower, perfect for spring. Enjoy.
