I have seen som nice clowns going very cheap and when I go to the high end dealers I found several nice ones at $190. I this economic times only the serious collectors and dealers are buying. Things are so cheap. I go to places like Ruby lane and GoAntiques. Everyone at Go A is so over priced I want to screem. LOL Most of the clowns as nice as your are going for $80 too $160 That is what the dealers are asking and they are sitting on them. I am new here but I deal with fine art and high end antiques including furniture. I can not look at one piece of Murano glass and tell you the maker but I have made a lot of money with the glass because I know the artistic value and workmanship. There are some very good members here that know many of the makers and think they know a lot but do not have an eye for the colour or craftsmanship in a pice. I think it is funny. Those who know the most miss the very important part. I guess my having a degreee in Architecture and a masters in Art along with buy and selling sense 1962 give me a huge edge. I can not tell you when the market is going to go back up but one thing is for sure it is going to be a very long time.
Glad you are learning and having fun. I bet you get the bug and add to your collection. LOL Now is the time to learn and buy. Things have never been cheaper.
    The best to you
    Richard
