I got these two bells at an estate sale of two antique dealers today. They of course had no labels other than they both had the dealers labels that said murano art glass bell $23.95 in 1995, I'm thinking the date 1995 is when they put them in their shop. I paid $2.00 apiece for them. The one that is red, green and white is 4 1/2 inches tall and the one that is green with blue and gold stripes is 3 3/4 inches tall. Looked on ebay to see what sellers were saying about their bells and what their asking price was, but was surprised not to see very many murano bells. I would be thankful for any help.

I purchased this lamp at a garage sale for $2 yesterday. I'm a lover of all things Mid Century, so I immediately snapped up this vintage, pink genie-style lamp. After doing a little research, I'm pretty sure my lamp is a hand-blown Murano glass lamp. If you feel the outside, you can feel the raised stripes of the "filigrana" and there is a small indent/defect in the glass (like maybe a bubble that burst in its forming?).

It's definitely a vintage lamp, probably from the 1950's, based on the style and its old cord. I'm trying to determine if it's a Toso or Dino Martens lamp, as I have seen Martens' lamps that are very similar in my research, in both the style of the glass and the unusual brass base.

My lamp doesn't have any stickers or maker's marks. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this garage sale find and give an estimation of what it might be worth?

Below are the pictures. The shade is not original and the last photo shows the defect in the glass. Any suggestions on cleaning the lamp would be helpful as well, since the brass is very tarnished and it appears that there is some dirt on the inside of the glass. I want to keep the lamp, but I don't want to do any cleaning or restoration that will de-value it. Thanks so much!

The “Gilded Putti in Leaves with Swan” and “Translucent Blue Putti Venetian with Gilt Leaves and Dragons” are impressive and seem to be a new, softer direction that recalls some of the traditional glass themes of Murano. The vases are a eclectic mix of both old and new styles, for example a spiked vase design seen in previous exhibits, but adorned with with a cherub.
