Hi - I'm new to this forum. I have a vase I would like to try to get an ID on but I have no idea how to post a picture on this forum. Any help?

Thanks!

Its easy! You just attach the picture from the options listed below when you post. the pictures cant be too large, I believe the largest picture can equivalent to a 8x8 or smaller. the FAQ's have more detailed instructions.

Oh thanks Alex - I didn't even see the option link below - lol.

Ok - let me give this a try. The vase is 7-1/4" tall and the base is about 2-1/2". I know this is called Spatter Glass - but that is about all I know. I was told it might be Italian - and possibly Murano.....

Hope these pictures are not too big - if they are please let me know.

So is this Murano?? Or something else?

Thank you so much for your time - I truly appreciate it :)

You are right that it is a spatter glass vase. These were done in so many places (e.g., Murano, Czechoslavakia, China, North and South America) that it is hard to guess who might have done it. I have not seen one like this before that has a clear area around the rim. One thing you can try is to put "Spatter glass vase" into eBay's search engine and see if you can locate one like it. Sorry that I could not be of more help.

Thanks Anita - I have tried on eBay. I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere.

I appreciate you looking and responding though - thanks ;)

Hi Sarahlooking, I agree with Anita, you will probably have some difficulty finding who has made the vase, but I would think it is most likely not Murano, as there seem to be many bubbles on the bottom of the vase, and its less colorful than most Murano seems to be. That being said, I could be wrong, and have been on many occasions. Good luck!
