Hi Im new here and need a little help. I have a heavy glass decanter that I believe is possibly old Murano. It has very very finely ground gold and the glass lights up with Black Light. I had orignally though maybe Italian but then maybe Labino. Ideas please on a poss. maker from your experience.
Thanks
Theresa

This is a tough one, my first reaction is to think that it is not Murano, but my experience with tableware is not that strong. Does anyone else have any ideas?

It looks like a version of Bo Bergstrom decanter for Aseda. I've seen this type of surface treatment mostly on Sklo Union glass (I have a piece with a label), but also on some Scandinavian and Murano, although the Murano was not a confident attribution. I've never seen it with such a definite colour separation in the sommerso drop. A really interesting piece. I notice that this is an old thread and I wonder if you ever found out anything more about it.
