CAN ANY ONE TELL ME IF ANY MARANO GLASS FIGURINES WERE PLACED ON SQUARE MARBLE BASES. THIS IS AN VINTAGE PIECE APPROXIMATELY in 1930's

I MADE AN VERY UNUSUAL Glass Figurine PURCHASE FROM THE PERSONAL PROPERTY OF AN ANTIQUE DEALER THAT PASSED AWAY.

THANK TO ALL OF YOU FOR ANY ASSISTANCE.:)

Hi. welcome to the forums! I can't say that I have seem many murano figurines on a marble base, but it doesn't mean that they aren't out there. Can you post a picture of your figurine?

THIS IS A RARE UNUSUAL PIECE AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THE FIGURINE STANDS ABOUT 13 1/8 in" applied to marble.
A Beautiful Piece.
This piece was acquired from an antique dealer that passed away

THIS PIECE IS DEFINITELY A "Barovier & Toso"

A very nice figurine! It looks to be a venetian carnival partygoer! Visit this thread for a similar Barovier and Toso figurine:

The figurines I have seen in the past have all had a glass base; do you know if the marble base is original?

JTaylor sent me a PM with the following info about the piece:

IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS POSSIBLY THE WORK OF Ercole Barovier C1934 HE HAS FIGURINES ON BASES SIMILAR TO MINE
