A lot can be learned from the labels or signatures on a piece of Murano Glass, but if you dont have an expensive book with a list of the photographs, what can you do?
Check out this list of Glass Marks (http://http://www.great-glass.co.uk/glass%20notes/marka-h.htm), there are a lot of manufacturers listed here, but it also has Venetian artists scattered throughout. A very worthwhile resource for expanding your knowledge of Murano Glass.
The rest of http://www.great-glass.co.uk is terrific, it also has a photo library of Murano glass by many different furnaces.
Well worth a browse and a bookmark!
