I am trying to identify this wonderful piece of glass and don't seem to be getting anywhere. can anyone help me

Hi. Do you have any more info on the item?

Are they any markings, labels etc?

Also, the picture is described as Mdina19. Mdina glass is the largest glassblowing house in Malta. Is it possibly Maltese?

Hi, I had the pics in a file along with pics of Mdina Glass. No I don't believe it is Maltese. I have now edited this.
There are no markings or labels of any sort. I aqcuired it from a friend who received it as a gift and has had it in his possession for approx 10 years. He has had it boxed in a cupboard as he absolutely hated it. I told him he has no taste!
