Signed Glass Owls, Are they Murano?

My mother passed away and left me these owls. Are they Murano? The bottom is signed R. Auatia. I have posted pictures. I would appreciate any information you can give me on this piece. I am getting renters insurance and need to know their value. Thank you in advance!

Im not sure, but styistically, I do not believe so. Murano Glass tends to lean more towards being boldly colored or with interior work done with bubbles, foil ect. Possibly Scandanavian?

Where would you reccomend I look for the manufacturer? I appreciate you expertise and knowledge regarding this subject.

Try the glass museum online, (http://www.glass.co.nz) they have many articles and pictures about all types of glass. It would be a great place to start your search. They also have a forum for many different types of glass as well.
