Just Showing Off My New Things

Last week I was lucky to get two of the nicest Fratelli Toso pieces. I show you my worst buy -- the apparenza -- but I didn't take time to brag on the good things. The overshot swan and basket are both in mint state. The swan still has a near mint-state label on the base. I was elated when I received them in the mail. Just thought I would share this beautiful glass. The basket looks red in the picture, but it is really tangerine with bubbles and gold speckles -- just gorgeous.

Yes. eBay can be a risky place to buy glass, but these two pieces look like they just came out of the box.

I bought another piece on eBay today. I am going to put it in a separate thread because I need help on it.

Thanks for the compliments on the swan and basket. They are common, but I still think they are beautiful. Yesterday I got in a turquoise butterfly swirl bowl that was near mint. Fratelli Toso apparently made some sturdy pieces.
