i have a chess set i was told is morano glass. king is 3 in high I also have a board withit of glass 12x12 inchs. if real how much? how do i know it is real/

Hi. Welcome to the forums, I have seen Murano chess sets here and there over the years. Can you post a picture?

I would like to post a pic but I have it all packed away in protective packaging. I want to get a display case for it but have not been able to find on. Pieces are really beautiful and are a colored base of glass for each side.

I checked the internet for some Murano chess sets by putting "Murano Chess" into Google. I found a few there. The price tags frightened me. :eek: The pieces were carefully crafted, so I understand the price.

The sets that I found were new. Have you checked Google to see if you can find your set? If it is well crafted, it will probably be worth a good bit. If you locate the set on the web, I would love to see the link.
