Hi,

I posted an introduction about a week ago but it said it need authorization? Anyway I thought Id try again. My name is Tricia. I live in Indiana and had never heard of Murano or collecting glass. My sister told me about in October.

I found this website just by searching and began reading your posts and looking at your pictures. I must say it has been an enjoyable experience. Its so wonderful to see people have such a passion for an art form such as this. You are all amazing people with so much knowledge.

We are taking a cruise in May. The cruise begins in Venice. We are arriving a day early to enjoy the city. My new "addiction" began the day I looked up Venice and Murano and found this website.

I hope to learn much from you. Thanks so very much.

I have never been to Venice, and I guess - for me - coming to the board is like a trip to Murano .... lol ...
