2 Murano Purple Glass Ducks

Hello, Was just wondering if anybody could help me out on a price and the best place to sell these two pieces. I don't know much about Murano Glass as these were given to my daugther by my grandparents as a gift to sell as she's raising money for her school. They are labeled 'Made in Murano Italy' the labels match one in the Label Library but says maker unknown. They were bought buy my Grandparents in Italy about fifty years ago and are in perfect condition as have been keep in a glass cabinet for as long as i can remember. I don't have an ebay account and don't want to set up an account if they are not worth the trouble. The picture doesn't really do them justice as the colour is alot more vibrant when there is light through them but had to borrow a friends camera so could only take the picture there and then (at night). Please any information you can give or anybody wants to take them off my hands for a fair price let me know. :0) x x x

Okay, I had to decide between being kind or telling the truth. I think the truth would be better since you plan to spend money listing them. They are not good ducks, and without the name of a maker that would draw people to them, they will probably only cost you the listing fee. I would instead check to see if anyone around you might want them. People buying on eBay will have to include the shipping charge if they buy, so wouldn't be willing to pay much if they bought at all.

Hope this helps in your decision. Other people's opinions could be different, so I wouldn't take my word alone. :)

thanks for you reply, think i'll sell them at a bootfair then so to save on fees. Only really want a couple of quid for them so hopefully will be able to sell :o thanks again x
