This was purchased in Italy by my grandfather and flown back during WWII. It is approximately 2-1/2 feet high and 1 foot in diameter at the top. The bottom is wider. Any idea as to value? Please contact me, directly, at df@benchmarklegal.net with thoughts/comments.
Thanks!!

Hi. I moved your inquiry to the pottery section for clarity. However, are you certain that it is pottery, and not glass finished to look like pottery?

I am certain it is pottery, as I can see the potter's wheel lines on the interior. Thank you for the reclassification. Any thoughts as to value? Also have a 3x3 Murano pottery horse that was commissioned at the same time.

Take a look at this thread:

and also this page:

Prior to this I was not aware of the Guerrieri brothers.

Thank you. Do you know where I can get more information on my pieces. The horse, especially, is rather spectacular.

Hi. I wish I had more information for you, but I am much less knowledgeable about pottery. Prior to your post, I hadn't known that there was a pottery mfr on Murano!
