I have recently obtained a wonderful plate which I was informed was murano. Since it seems to be lacking in marks of any sort, how does one tell whether or not this may be Murano? And how does one determine the artist who made the piece? Any formula(s) anyone can give a person to determine such?:D
Thanks.....Spiritwalker

Hi, Spiritwalker. Most Murano is not marked. The only way I've found to identify new pieces is to search for the pattern. Sometimes it helps to post pictures of the piece on Murano boards. Someone may recognize the pattern.
