Big blue ball vase???

I bought this a few years ago from an estate sale? Any ideas on the maker? It is 10 inches high and about 29 inches around. The gold spiral swirls about halfway up the vase. Thanks, Rick I have a couple other pieces I would love to find out more about. Check my other postings.

Hi. Im glad to see some new faces here! Adding copper bits to a vase is definitely a venetian technique, its named avventurine as its difficult to master. However, they apply a much finer dust or crystals, where its difficult to discern individual pieces of copper. Your vase is unique in that the metal flecks are larger,and meant to be a part of the design rather than being added to the glass for an effect. I will take a look around and see if I come up with any more info.
