Hi, Dom here, from Britain - England to be exact. I’m very new to collecting glass, but I know already that I’m a vintage ashtray, bowl, and candy dish man (I think I hear a song coming on). :rolleyes:
It all started about four years ago when I bought a very heavy yellowish tinted lump of glass from a charity shop for a few pounds. This bowl wasn’t Murano though, but it did get me interested in glass, and eventually I bought three more Muranoish bowls from charity shops. Now I’m scouring eBay for better pieces. I don't know what it is but Murano bowls make me think of glamorous classic film stars in their glamorous homes. :cool:

Welcome to the forums Dom, we have a great group here! You will find that bowls and ashtrays are very reasonably priced these days. Enjoy the forums!
