For those on the East Coast, who are looking for a great even, with a taste Venice, check out Waterfire in Providence, RI.

A great summer event, where the rivers that surround Providence are lit up with wood fires....a great spectacle. That day I also found a Venini book in a local bookstore. A perfect day :)
